We are Jennifer and Jason.
We are happily married and very excited to see our family grow.
We met in College at Arizona State University in 1991. We were married in 1996 after Jason completed law school in Alabama and move to California In July 2000 to be closer to Jennifer’s family in Orange County.
Jason is thirty-eight years old and a practicing civil trial attorney in the Los Angeles area. He represents individuals and small businesses, which have been severely injured or suffered catastrophic property loss. He is also a volunteer for The Alliance for Children’s Rights and performs pro bono adoptions and speaks to foster children who are about to exit the system as part of the Alliance’s mentoring program.
Jennifer is thirty-five and a fulltime stay at home mom. Jen runs her own clothing business “Ani Bunni Clothing” . They design and sell clothing and accessories for infants, toddlers, children and moms. Jen is also working on obtaining her certification to teach Yoga and Pilates.
We both are active in our church, Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. We both love to travel; especially domestically. When we travel, we plan our trip around where we are going to eat! Our favorite places to visit are small towns and pedestrian cities, where we can walk around and visit little art galleries and boutiques. We love to collect art from various local artisans and craftsman in the places we visit. We both really love music and live shows. Jen likes her “Country” and Jason likes his “Rock and Roll”. We enjoy wine tasting and dining out. We are also both big movie buffs! We make it a point of seeing every movie nominated for the Golden Globes and the Oscars and love watching both awards shows.
We both love sports and enjoy going to Dodgers, Angels and Lakers games!
We love animals and have a dog and three cats all of whom were rescues. We both come from very large extended families (Aunts, uncles, cousins, stragglers) so after 12 years of trying to conceive, we decided to build our family through adoption. We both love children. That’s our real passion. We have one foster daughter who has been living with us since she was 7 weeks old and has captured our hearts. Our hope is to adopt at least two or three children to complete our family. We’d love a boy or a girl. It really doesn’t matter. Our hearts are to just share all this love we have to give.
