Hello, we are Ron and Collin and we want to thank you for taking the time to read about us and for considering us as adoptive parents. We are so honored and humbled by this amazing possibility and we hope that in this brief note we can convey to you the deep appreciation and respect we have for your courage in making this most significant of decisions.
Ron grew up in Sacramento with three brothers, while Collin grew up in Massachusetts with a brother and a sister. Collin made her move to the west coast twenty years ago and ten years later met Ron when his company started consulting for Collin’s organization and we became friends. After a couple of years of friendship, we started dating and have been on the magnificent journey of building our lives together ever since.
We live in the San Francisco Bay area with our cat Luna.
Ron is a network administrator for multiple companies throughout the bay area and Collin works in finance and human resources for a non-profit organization working to end violence towards women and children.
We chose to commute to the city from an amazing little community because we wanted to live in an ideal environment for a child. There are wonderful schools, many families and children playing in parks, riding bikes and flying kites.
The life we have built together is based on a shared core values of respect, loyalty and honesty. We both feel that the most important aspect of our lives is our family and close friends and we are loyal to each other and our families above all else.
We also share a love of music, movies, good food, the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and experiencing and learning about different cultures. Ron is a history buff and enjoys camping, fishing, football, and rugby. Collin enjoys photography, cooking, the ocean and most especially, reading.

There are no words that can adequately express the depth of the excitement we feel about becoming parents or our heartfelt admiration of your strength and compassion as a birthmother in choosing to help us achieve our dream of having a child to share the wonderful adventure of life with. We are committed to providing a lifetime of unconditional love, laughter and magical moments for our child and celebrating his or her uniqueness at every turn.
