Dear Birth Mother,
Thank you for considering our family in the important decision you are about to make. We hope this glimpse into our lives gives you an idea of the love and happiness we share as a family. We are ready to open our home and hearts to a child.
We are Tim and Laura, and we have been together for eighteen years, married for fourteen of those years. Our nine-year-old daughter, Lillian (Lily), is our biological daughter. It is our dream to grow our family with the addition of another child. We have decided that the best way to complete our family is through adoption.
Laura received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and worked in marketing before Lily was born. Laura’s priority is, and always will be, her family. She has chosen to be a stay-at-home mom because she understands the importance of being there for her child and she doesn’t want to miss a thing!
Tim is an incredible husband and father. He is patient, devoted and loving. He is an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant working at an international law firm. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and playing guitar. After work, he is often Lily’s playmate, playing imaginative games, shooting baskets, building block cities, swimming and reading.
We are very excited about the possibility of becoming parents to a new child and being able to provide our new child with a big sister. Lily is a vibrant, intelligent and caring child who is a delight to be around. She loves to dance (all the time!), learn and play with friends. She is anxiously awaiting the arrival of a brother or sister to love. We know Lily will be a great big sister and will love the companionship and bond a sibling will bring.
We have created a life that revolves around our family and we spend our free time being together. We enjoy going to the many local parks, beaches and amusements. We strongly believe in spending our time and giving ourselves to our daughter in order to give her wonderful memories, strong values, self-confidence, and respect for herself and others.
Our home is a four-bedroom house in a quiet, residential neighborhood. There are many families with children nearby. Our community has access to exceptional schools. We have a large backyard that has a play structure, with a fort, swings and a slide, and a swimming pool.
Should you choose us as the family for your child, you can take comfort in knowing that they will be deeply loved and their path to us will be celebrated. Our relationship is for life and your child will never know anything but stability, security, and a deep feeling of being loved. This is our promise to you.
