We are Jeff and Kat Chace and we are asking for your help in realizing our dream of completing our family. For nearly nine years we have enjoyed a happy, loving marriage. Our careers have been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children for over 10 years. We began as outdoor educators, became school teachers, and then started an outdoor educational facility.
Throughout our journeys, we have found that serving people is the foundation of an exciting and rewarding life.
By the grace of God we welcomed our daughter Alyssa into the world on November 3rd, 2003. It is our lifetime dream to have a larger family and provide Alyssa with a brother or a sister.
We realize that you are making a difficult decision and we want you for feel comfortable with your choice. We want trust and honesty to be the foundation of our adoption and would like to have an open adoption where we can all meet each other. In this letter, we can only share a few facts about us but we hope that it will be helpful. Jeff is a Program Director for an Island Marine Institute, a boat captain and is a divemaster. Jeff is a very passionate person. He has helped build a camp from the ground up and provided thousands of students with the opportunity to experience the ocean and world around them. Our front yard is the ocean and our backyard, the mountains. We have the unique opportunity to thrive in the natural world around us. We have a family friendly three bedroom home which is great for kids with plenty of room for play.
Kat is a school teacher who has traded her classroom to fulfill her lifetime dream of becoming a stay at home mom. She fills her day helping our daughter experience the world around her. On any given day, you can find Alyssa and Kat hiking, swimming, exploring, working on art projects, reading, or taking care of the garden. She is a dynamic, loving woman who is devoted to her family.
We know that we will be exceptional parents and we have worked hard to create a family environment that is secure, warm, healthy and nurturing. We will provide a child with lots of love and support and wonderful opportunities for experiencing life. Thank you for considering us as parents for your baby.
