Dear Birth mother,
we have a great respect for you as a birth mom for your faith, strength and your willingness to bless a family. We know the process will be hard and that there will be struggles. But we know our heavenly Father will be with you during this time and with us as we walk through this journey.
About us:
We've been together 11 years and have been married for 7 years. We met online, something we both said we would never do. :) It all began one evening back in May 2009 when we both were introduced to the chat rooms. We created a profile and Todd was attracted to mine because of the memory verse Philippians 4:13 on my favorite quote. He instant messaged me and we started chatting back and forth on the computer and then in August he came out to visit me and we fell in love. Todd is from Florida and had everything to offer a young lady and packed up everything in October 2009 and came out to live in California. Let's just say he wasn't happy with California and I told him he needed to go back to Florida to see what he wanted and he did and a week later he was back :) His love was real. We are the best of friends.
We have two children Lexi who is 6 and Luke who is 4. They are the joy of our lives. God has truly blessed us with two of the most amazing children. We've talked about adoption for quite a while now and the time has come where we're finally doing it. We have been blessed so much that in return we want to be able to bless a child by welcoming them into a loving family and giving them a wonderful life. We are so excited about what the future holds. We've always dreamed of having a bigger family. Lexi and Luke are excited about having a new sibling.
We are a Christian family who has strong morals and values. We put God in the center of everything we do. We feel it's very important what is taught at school so we have decided to put our kids in Christian schools where we know they are being taught morals and values. We attend church every Wednesday and Sunday. We are involved in different outreaches that our church has to offer. We pray daily as a family and have special devotional time as a family every day. Both of our children have been dedicated to the Lord and love him very much. We lead a life by example for our children to follow.
Why I love Nicki:
Nicki is 38 years old. She is a wonderful example of what a mother and wife should be like. Her Christian walk is evident in how she lives her life. She is honest, compassionate, loving, kind, always wanting to help others, very outgoing, very positive and full of joy. She's a stay at home mom who loves what she does. She makes our home a very happy and peaceful place to come home to. She keeps the home very clean and has such a great desire to feed her family healthy. She puts her family above anything else.
Nicki is involved in each of her kid's life. She works every Friday in her daughter's kindergarten classroom. She is at every event that the school has. She enjoys spending one on one time with her son who will start pre-K in the fall. She has such pride in her kids and makes sure that they always look nice. Nicki enjoys playing with the kids outside in their backyard. She enjoys going on walks, bike rides, taking the kids to the park, having picnics, doing crafts, playing board games, reading to the kids and spending time in our pool at our house. Nicki is also involved at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). She is a table leader this year and loves meeting other moms.
Why I love Todd:
Todd is 40 years old and is a wonderful father and husband. He is a Godly man who fears the Lord. He is such a hard worker and has a wonderful job. He's loving, strong, courageous, caring and very protective over his family. He enjoys fishing, outdoor activities, playing sports with the kids and swimming in our pool. He has such a sacrificial heart for his family. He puts his wife and kids before anything else. He has such a great sense of humor, there's never a dull moment around him. He is everything and more that a Father and husband should be.
We love family vacations and creating memories. We go to Lake Tahoe and we rent a really nice house every year. Next year the kids want to learn how to snow ski. We have such a wonderful time as a family.
We go sledding, snowmobiling, go on horse carriage rides, build snowmen and go tubing. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a vacation. We also love taking the kids to Disneyland and to the Beach. We love anything outdoors. We enjoy fishing with the kids. We enjoy having our friends and family over for BBQs. We love camping out in our tent in our backyard on a nice evening and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. We all love swimming in our gated oversized pool. We love doing karaoke with the kids, playing with the WII and having game night. We love the life that God has blessed us with and look forward to creating many more family memories. We also love spending time with Nicki's family. All of her family lives close to us. She has her Mom and Dad, two brothers and their wives and three nephews and four nieces. The kids love their cousins.
We have a beautiful home in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It's 4 bedrooms and has 3 baths with a very large kitchen which is nice since Nicki spends a lot of time in there preparing delicious meals. We have a very nice big backyard with an oversized gated swimming pool, trampoline, swing set/playhouse, garden and many toys for the little ones. We love animals and have 3 little dogs who the kids love to play with.
The greatest joy in our life is being parents, we cannot wait to expand our family and pray your little one will be the other added blessing in our family.
Please know that if you should choose us to raise your child, we promise to love and care for her/him with all of our heart and being.
